    Santa & Cole

  • In 1961, this lamp was part of  Miguel Milá’s first collection for TRAMO ( "Trabajos Molestos" or “Annoying Jobs” in Spanish), the company  he had established to produce his own work in the early years of his career. Santa & Cole is now reediting ASA, in its original version of black structure and button as well as in the subsequent version, completely white. The structure, light and shaped as a pull cord, allows it to be moved to any space requiring to be singled out by its lighting. Metal structure with smooth matt white or black coloured finish (matte).  White translucent methacrylate shade.

    5.9"w X 18.5"h.   7w / 120 V.  E26 medium base.

Designed by Santa & Cole, Barcelona, Spain. From the manufacturer: For 28 years now, Santa & Cole has lived for industrial design, an art consisting of focussing on everyday objects in order to seek a better use experience, thereby leading us to reflect upon material culture. Hence, we edit elements of domestic and urban furniture and lighting, plant elements (which are living matter) and books (which are likewise alive). A range that is only apparently disperse, converging upon a single concern: not to accumulate, but rather to select; not to enjoy quantity, but rather quality.
