Our newest design for 2022, the Retrofire has all the Mid-Century elements, optimistic spires reaching for the future, a minimalist silhouette that cradles a generous and transparent mesh firebox that allows for an element of lightness while its 1/4" thick frame makes a sturdy addition to your outdoor space.The undulating mid-century forms surround this volatile, chaotic element we call fire and it is epic. A brilliant focal point for any swanky space, this fireplace commands attention. The interior rim can be filled with decorative rocks or fireglass, if desired.
Fuel options: Propane or Natural Gas
Size: 40” diameter, 17” tall. 30” wide firebox. Propane or natural gas fueled with a 95,000 BTU 18" stainless steel, dual ring burner. Propane fueled Retrofires come with a 10ft hose, regulator and adjustable needle valve to articulate gas flow.

About Modfire: Modfire is the dream of two friends from Indiana, Bra ndon Williams and Marty Young. Although they grew up no more than 20 miles apart, Brandon and Marty met for the first time when they were living in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago in 2005. They bonded over their similar histories growing up in small town Indiana and shared dreams of building a business focused on beautiful design.
